Parkside Villa offers a specialized ventilator management program to meet the complex respiratory needs of those entrusted to our care. Our program is designed to provide high-quality care for individuals with chronic ventilators and those who are able to be weaned. The unit is staffed to support the unique needs of our respiratory patients, including:

• 24/7 registered nurses and nursing assistants
• Rounding board-certified pulmonologists and family physicians
• Respiratory therapists
• On-site nurse practitioners
• Physical, occupational and speech therapists
• Clinical Dietitian
• Licensed social workers

Life with a ventilator can be challenging, but our staff will help you gain the confidence and skills necessary to live as independently as possible. We utilize the Trilogy Ventilator, which is small enough to allow patients to move around the unit freely and participate in therapy as they are able. We work with each patient to create an individualized care plan that includes the goals and needs of the person and his family.
